Arthur C. Chester introduced his home-built racer at the 1933 National Air Races at Los Angeles, CA. His best speed at the race was 154.365 MPH. By making changes to the prop, spinner, and streamlining the cockpit Chester continued to increase his speed ultimately achieving over 230 MPH.
This Art Chester Racer kit is a 1/16 scale, rubber powered flying model that uses the Box and Former method of simplified construction. Pre-1942 design, eligible for FAC Dime Scale and Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
