Supermarine Spitfire Mk 1
Kit FF-25 Supermarine Spitfire Mk 1 is a 1/18 scale, flying model
that uses the
Box and Former method of construction.
This vintage model of one of the most famous and beautiful aircraft
of the WWII era is an exciting challenge to build and rewarding to
fly. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Society of Antique Modelers (SAM)
contests.
The Spitfire, with eight machine guns and a top speed of 355 miles
per hour, was extremely maneuverable even at high altitude. It is
probably the most famous British fighter aircraft of the WWII era.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size
rolled plan, building and flying instructions, printed balsa wood,
hand-picked balsa strip wood, rubber motor, propeller, nose package,
clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear, TissueCal™ markings
(markings printed on tissue), and Easy
Built Lite tissue in desert tan, evergreen, and light
sky blue. You will need a building
board, pins, hobby knife, fine
sandpaper, and glue.
